A few lucky people will get a rare peek behind the scenes at McDonald’s HQ, tasting not-yet-released menu items and grabbing some exclusive swag in a new competition.
Ten lucky winners will get the chance to be the first to try new products, fan favorites no longer available and access merchandise from the fast-food giant.
To enter, all people have to do is post their best influencer impression while unboxing their McDelivery to TikTok between 12.01am July 26 and 11.59pm August 7 with the hashtag #maccasnightinfluencer as well as tagging @mcdonaldsau plus three friends they’d like to enjoy a winter night in with.
Winners get a behind-the-scenes tour of the McDonald’s Australia headquarters as well as a $150 McDelivery voucher, plus exclusive Macca’s merchandise, including Golden Arches socks, beanie, scarf, loungewear and a blanket.
McDonald’s Australia marketing director Tim Kenward said: “Winter is all about staying indoors with good food and good company.
“We are excited to give our loyal brand fans the chance to win one of our most exciting and unique prizes yet.
“All you need to do is channel your inner influencer and flex those unboxing skills to show us your perfect winter night in with Macca’s.”
Twenty runners up with also receive exclusive merchandise.
The news comes after the outlet reintroduced two fan-favorites to its winter menu.
After a “short hiatus”, the beloved Mighty Angus burger returned to its rightful place, featuring two Aussie Angus beef patties, cheese, bacon, red onion, chunky tomato relish and McChicken sauce – all in a “super soft gourmet bun”.
Joining the Mighty Angus – and no doubt much to the joy of cheese lovers nationwide – Macca’s also reintroduced one of its most popular snacks: Mozzarella sticks with chunky tomato relish.
McDonald’s has also introduced a Crème Brulée McFlurry and Crème Brulée Pie to its Australian menu.
