Perth bikies: Mongol members and nominees arrested over brutal bashing with a baseball bat

A man was brutally bashed with a baseball bat in multiple attacks by three alleged bikie members last week, WA’s top cop has revealed.

Gang crime squad officers arrested a senior 35-year-old Mongols bikie member, as well as two club nominees aged 36 and 40, after raiding several homes across Perth and regional WA as a result of the savage attack.

Police will allege in two separate beatings, on July 16 and 21, a man in his 50’s was seriously assaulted by gang members who used a baseball bat and knocked the man unconscious “for a period of time.”

The State’s top cop Col Blanch said the trio had been charged with “various offenses” after a thorough investigation by the gang crime squad.

In a statement police confirmed they had seized approximately $50,000 in cash along with ammunition and illicit drugs during one of the search warrants in Kingsley.

The three men are facing more than 20 charges between them including assault occasioning bodily harm, aggravated home burglary and commit and criminal damage.
