Several new players in Sea Eagles team

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles have named several new faces in their NRL team to play the Sydney Roosters at 4 Pines Park this Thursday night.

Here is a summary of the players ahead of the Round 20 Telstra Premiership match.

Pio Seci

Born in Suva, Fiji, the 28-year-old winger made his Test debut for Fiji against Samoa in 2016. He has scored a try in each of his last three games playing in the centers for Blacktown Workers in the NSW Cup. Last year , he played for Fiji Silktails in the Ron Massey Cup and then Avignon club in France. Yet to play NRL.





Alfred Smalley

A New Zeland product who was part of Manly’s 2017 Holden Cup winning team, Alfred is an exciting winger who can make plenty of meters with his strong running game. The 23-year-old has scored 13 tries in 32 NSW Cup games including six tries from 14 matches for Blacktown Workers this season. Yet to play NRL.





james segeyaro

Former NRL player with plenty of experience who joined the Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles for the 2022 season. A clever hooker, 31-year-old Segeyaro has scored five tries in 14 games for Blacktown Workers in the NSW Cup this season.





Zack Fulton

A hardworking lock with good footwork and skills, Fulton has progressed through the successful Sea Eagles Pathways Academy program. The 20-year-old has played Harold Mathews, SG Ball, and Jersey Flegg for Manly, and NSW Cup for Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles. Yet to play NRL.

James Romans

A highly touted middle forward with a high work rate, James played in the Australian Schoolboys team that featured David Fifita. The 22-year-old was part of the Canterbury Bulldogs NRL squad in 2021. Yet to play NRL.
