Shareef O’Neal, son of NBA Hall of Famer Shaquille, has reportedly inked a six-figure deal to play with the G League Ignite team as he continues to chart a path to the top.

O’Neal left LSU as a junior to enter the 2022 NBA Draft, but ultimately was not picked.

However, the Los Angeles Lakers – the franchise that the senior O’Neal spent eight successful seasons with – invited him to play with them during Summer League.
